Spring 2024. I am practicing with recording and editing technologies and will be recording both zen(ish) and toxic & tonic this spring. I also plan to share a variety of recorded poems on social media. Stay tuned!

Spring 2025. An American Druid: Thinking Out Loud is a project for the winter months. Publication likely in JAN/FEB 2025.

FICTION

Late Fall 2024. Veleda’s Vision is a work of speculative fiction/historical fantasy about a young Druid circa 15BCE-50CE. Veleda is a trained Druid on a mission, traveling trade routes in caravans and on ships owned by a distant relative. She is a linguist, an historian, a musician, a poet, a healer, and a practitioner of earth magicks. Veleda’s travels, her mission reports, and stories about the people she meets and travels with are captured in her songs and poems.

THE LANE FARM PROJECTS

The following projects provide income for the maintenance and upkeep of The Lane Farm in Fayette, Maine.

4 July 2024. The Story of Emery Orson Lane and Rose Mabel Haskell of Fayette, Maine is a shortened, more publicly accessible version of the longer lineage book Descendants of Emery Orson Lane & Rose Mabel Haskell. This version is written so that even non-descendants can enjoy their story. The book describes the lives of two people living and raising twelve children in Fayette, Maine circa 1900-1950.

4 July 2024. The Descendants (to 1920) of James Lane & Eunice Chase of Kent’s Hill, Maine is a lineage book that will be available to anyone interested in this Lane Family.

Summer 2024. The Lane Farm Herbal: Edible & Medicinal Plants of Western Maine will be published early this fall (SEP/OCT 2024).
