My Support Team

People often remark about how organized I am, but in fact many people help keep me on track.

Craig Pursell, fantastic photographer and my life/business partner. You can see his bio at Two Wild Geese. I could not focus on writing if Craig were not handling many details of our life together.

Rachael Pursell & Kathryn LaRosee, our marvelous daughters, my Millennial consultants and cheering squad. I appreciate you so much! Thank you for helping me rant about random stuff until the poems or the books are born…. And for keeping me on track socially in so many ways.

Hayden Lane, my father. Literally set my feet upon the trails of our family history when I was nine years old. Thank you for walking so many homestead sites and cemeteries with me over the years.

Phil Wormuth, RSU 24 Adult Education, Sullivan, Maine. Phil is a poet and teaches others how to appreciate and write poetry. We are also writing accountability partners.

Many writers and poets here in Downeast Maine who have supported my work when I was too shy to share out loud. Thanks to all y’all… audiobooks and a poetry audioblog series coming soon!

I also have a team of medical and behavioral therapists who remind me to use mindfulness tools and keep me physically ready to get things done. I appreciate each of you so much.

All of these people know my neurodivergent quirks and my physical challenges. They work individually and collaboratively to keep me centered, focused, and on track. Most importantly, they help me push through to actual publication! No more writing a book and stuffing it in a drawer.
