We write, edit, and publish poetry and prose about forgotten people, places, and practices. And we teach and mentor other aspiring thinkers, writers, and photographers.

Writers and photographers have many expenses!
We travel several times each year, both in the United States and out.
We visit and conduct research in old cemeteries, wilderness areas, abandoned homesteads, libraries, museums, and archives where there are fees and membership costs.
Each year we take and process thousands of photographs, write hundreds of pages, and publish our own work. These labors of love require up-to-date equipment (computers, scanners, printers) and software (Adobe Photoshop, Mylio, Affinity Publisher) that can function well both on- and off-line, and all the necessary supplies to support our workflow (papers, toners, bookmarks, business cards, what-have-you).
We also teach, coach, or mentor adults who want to improve their education, skills, and knowledge base. We offer this service on a sliding scale. Donations help us offset this cost.
